NBCUniversal, WNBC Digital
Being a part of the WNBC Digital team was an absolute dream. While there, I met and worked with the most welcoming, talented individuals.
As an intern, I took AP wires and formatted them into the WNBC website. I also got to create a lot of my own content from writing news articles to making videos for social media. I was also in charge of cutting the 11 a.m. news packages into smaller segments to be later published on the website.
I got the opportunity to shadow many people on my team and accompany them on projects they were working on. I gained an amazing insight into the hard work that goes into working at a news station.

University of Cincinnati
I have been very lucky to go to a university with so many opportunities for me to gain experience. At the University of Cincinnati, I have joined many clubs and have taken many relevant courses that have made me confident in several areas.
Two of the best clubs that I have been a part of include Bearcast Media and the Video Production club. Both organizations helped me collaborate with advisors and other students. With Bearcast media, I was able to assist with a couple of television shows that run on campus. I operated cameras, technical directed, and was even a host. The Video Production club gave me the opportunity to create a short film. On this project, I was the Assistant Director and learned how important it is to stay on top of tasks and keep the crew on time.
Some beneficial classes include: writing for media, sports production, and single camera production. Within all of these, I have acquired many essential skills when working on a set. From pre-production to post-production, I have been able to experience it all. Below are some photos of what it looks like to work a sports game that gets broadcast on ESPN+!
