Hello...

 

My name is Emily Volpe. I am a graduate from the University of Cincinnati. I graduated on December 9th, 2022 and received my Bachelor of Arts in communication with a minor in media production. I finished with a GPA of 3.8, Summa cum Laude, and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. ​

I absolutely love working within the news and entertainment industry. In the beginning of my journey I was fascinated by film and TV and working on a set with actors. I still enjoy this but I started to question myself when I worked in news. I really loved being a part of the news world and it made me wonder what else is out there that I am missing out on. I guess you can tell that I am a little confused on where I am meant to be but I am excited to figure it out.

I am really drawn to the fact that there is something new each day when you are in this industry. I love the adrenaline of the fast paced environment. Meeting new people and hearing people's stories is another bonus.

Besides all that, I love music and going to concerts, museums, being around family and friends, and trying news things. 

 

Studying abroad was always a huge goal of mine. I finally made it happen my junior year of college and it has become a huge part of my life. That experience has taught me so much and really made me grow as an individual. I made it to 4 different countries over 20 new cities.
